This Privacy Policy explains how Healer's Moon LLC, doing business as MoonShine Wellness ("MoonShine Wellness," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit www.moonshinewellnesspnw.com, book a session through booking.moonshinewellnesspnw.com, buy from our Apothecary, or communicate with us by email, phone, or text message.

MoonShine Wellness provides burnout recovery coaching, education, workshops, and group sessions. This is a general website and communications privacy policy. It is not a Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA or any other healthcare privacy law, and it does not replace any notice that may be required for specific services.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book a session, register for an event, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, take our burnout assessment quiz, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing or shipping address, payment details, and anything you choose to write in a message or "additional information" field.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our website platform and the analytics and advertising tools described below may collect technical information such as your browser type, device, IP address, pages viewed, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

To schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage your appointments, group sessions, and workshops
To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates

To process payments and fulfill Apothecary orders

Text messaging (SMS)

How consent is collected. You may choose to receive text messages from MoonShine Wellness by checking an optional SMS consent box on our booking forms. The boxes are not pre-checked. There are two separate boxes: one for appointment and service messages, and one for occasional messages about upcoming sessions and workshops.

Consent is optional. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to book a session or buy any product or service.

What we send. If you opt in to service messages, we may text you appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, and responses to your inquiries. If you separately opt in to the second box, we may also text you about upcoming Healing Huddles, workshops, and sessions open for booking.

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and conversations with us.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@moonshinewellnesspnw.com or 206-258-7611.

Your mobile information. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver our messages and only as needed to provide that service.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us run our business, only as needed for them to provide their services to us. These currently include:

Squarespace, which hosts our website and Apothecary shop
HighLevel (LeadConnector), which runs our booking pages, client communications, and text messaging
Stripe, which processes card payments for paid sessions and Apothecary orders
MailerLite, which sends our newsletter if you subscribe
Cognito Forms, which hosts our burnout assessment quiz
The video-conferencing service we use to hold virtual sessions

Analytics and advertising. Our website uses Google Analytics (the Google tag) to understand how visitors use the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed and device information, and Google and Meta process it under their own privacy policies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings, or block cookies in your browser.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any newsletter email.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@moonshinewellnesspnw.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
