Doris Taylor is a burnout wellness coach & workshop facilitator. She has worked in healthcare for over 20 years and founded MoonShine Wellness in 2022 after leaving her career due to severe burnout. Her mission is to provide resources to address burnout issues for those working in healthcare. Resources include this workshop and additional support is provided with personalized coaching for individuals and twice monthly support group sessions. Burnout is experienced differently by everyone, influenced by childhood/adolescent experiences, learned & applied skills on regulating the nervous system and work experiences & culture. This means that a one size fits all approach doesn’t build resiliency nor help people become engaged and feel fulfilled in their lives. MoonShine Wellness creates a supportive, safe space for everyone with the first hand understanding & experience from having worked in the healthcare system. She truly understands the unique impact it has on your life and are here to support you.
Her career started in adult Med-Surg and ended after working in a pediatric clinic for over 13 years. Bringing the knowledge from her career along with what she’s learned in her own journey out of burnout plus the courses she’s taken to inform her practice, she’s crafted a workshop that speaks directly to those experiencing burnout with the intention of reframing how burnout is viewed and what can be done. She believes burnout should not be expected to happen and normalized nor people be shamed for their experience.
Maria Gabriela Guevara, Pharm.D. -Founder of Intuitive Ayurveda Your Clinical Pharmacist turned Ayurveda Health Counselor
Maria Gabriela is a certified Ayurveda Health Counselor, a doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D.), a 200 hour certified yoga teacher, and founder of Intuitive Ayurveda. She specializes in helping women prepare for, celebrate, and manage the transition into menopause. The eastern and western perspectives of medicine each have something to offer us, and Maria Gabriela understands this dance. Her goal is to educate on Ayurvedic tools that can (and should) be individualized to each complex person. She strives to help her clients tune into the messages their bodies are sending them. Ultimately, she believes that every person is the expert on what is best for them, and can be empowered to hone in on which tools they need to support themselves in mind, body, and spirit.
