Get Beyond Burnout: Not Your Usual Wellness Workshop - July

Get Beyond Burnout Workshop lighthouse

Virtual via Zoom

Sit and relax with your favorite cup of tea

Facilitated by Doris Taylor, RN BSN, this workshop is designed to reframe what you believe keeps you in cycles of burnout. Then guides you in deciding which regulation tools are most effective FOR YOU based on YOUR symptoms. And finally, gives you next steps on stopping your cycles of burnout.

Grounded in science - guided by compassion

Topics will include nervous system dysregulation (with a PolyVagal lens), learned coping skills and work environment & culture. This is not a fluffy workshop on deep breathing or meditation that leaves you feeling isolated and alone. The intent is to empower you to create the life you desire by bringing habitual & familiar patterns that keep you feeling stuck to your conscious awareness. Because that’s when change happens.

We are creating culture change one person at a time

As a nurse for over 20 years, Doris knows how burnout effects every part of your life. This workshop will provide you with the confidence, tools and understanding to create sustained burnout recovery. Workshops are open to nurses, healthcare professionals and anyone experiencing or wanting to prevent burnout. By attending this workshop you will not become more productive at work but you will find yourself.

Burnout is a symptom of the systems we navigate

and the trauma we experience

Doris Taylor, RN BSN is passionate about guiding those who care for others into a deeper understanding of the patterns that keep them in cycles of overwhelm, exhaustion and burnout. With 25 years working as a nurse, she intimately knows how these cycles impact every aspect of a person's life. After quitting her career as a pediatric staff nurse in 2021 due to intense burnout, she’s done the deep work to understand the root causes and how to shift those patterns to create sustained recovery.

She has lived and worked in the Seattle area for over 20-years after landing there as a travel nurse. Starting in 2026, she is co-hosting “You Are Not The Problem Podcast: From Trauma to Possibility” with two friends.

Because finding the passion with-in leads to igniting it in others
